 how fun !!
i feel like a dear abby of craft !@
 hmmm
i dont know how many supplies you have or can get
not everybody is lucky enough to have great craft store near them
(thats me complaining about not having great craft stores near me)
 so that said,
umcute little fabric tigers would be easy and cute
are we going for cute or not cute ?
ok well lets start with cute (most crafts are cute)
i like starting with something sturdy
like buy a crappy cheap frame from a thrift store
or dollar store and work off that
that way you have a foundation
and a hanger on back or stand

1)i'm thinking little fabric tiger faces cut out
from felt or used orange clothing
( i use the salvation army as my fabric store recycling clothing very often)
a little round circle of orange with triangle ears
and then some black stripes either with black felt or used material or even a great black sharpie  marker and then you can use googliey eyes and paste them on
you can use super glue like 'fabric tac' or regular school glue
you can go aheah and make some bodies or just lots of tiger faces

2)you can make one fabic tiger somewhere on the frame and cover the rest of the frame with  the orange and black stripes

3)work with yarn, and glue a bunch of stripes on
just laye them down a few orange and then a few black

4)glue is funny, its your best craft friend but if your not careful it could come bite you on the  butt, so be careful not to get it on your fingers or else it will get onto the tops of your fabric and  pieces and look kinda crappy(just an opinion)

5)if supplies are hard to find any store has construction paper
in which you can cut out lots of fun things and shapes

6)pom poms are always fun too, of course orange and black.

7)mistakes, my fave, dont forget no one has to know whether you intended something to look  one way or another so if you "mess up" go with it, accidental art surpises me all the time,  something you never would have thought of doing all of a sudden appears and tada something  really cool happenes

8)not so cute but more realistic you can get some pictures of real tigers
a-off the internet if you have a good printer, small ones are fine back grounds good
 b-draw your own
c-get a used tiger book from a thrift store
modege podge them onto the frame, ever use that stuff ?
its like a sealer, you can use regular glue too, just water it down and you can use a paint brush  (crappy one cause youll have to throw it out after because its gunna get ruined)
or just use your finger, or what have you

9)you can use a mixture of the above and glue a little toy tiger somewhere on it, also dollar  stores are great for cheap little weird things you can treasure hunt for your project

10)make the whole frame one big toger and get two eyes (googly or fabric or whatever) put  them on the top of the frame with two little ears that come out off the frame
paste little armes and legs connecting to the sides of the frame and bottom and have them hang  off the frame

 11) if something seems too hard or you dont know how to start, think like a kid and simplify it,  minds usually fill up the abstract parts and create the image whetherer you spelled it out for  them or not !

well i look foward to hearing what you choose to do and if you can i'd love to see a picture :)  (such a pest)
also feel free to write me again to explain clearer one idea or another !!

                                                                                                      - adee :)

the tiger on my frame is foam and the frame is made of wood that i painted. most of the little peices are foam as well. one of the wiskers fell off. i know it's
not like anything you do, but i've never been very good at
that stuff,
although i try to do it alot.... so what have
you been up to lately? anywhooo take care.              kevin
